Frequently Asked Questions

How much will it cost?

A honey bee colony extraction costs $75 for each hour of effort per beekeeper. Typically it takes at least 5-6 hours to complete an extraction.

Are there any additional costs?

No. However, any materials used will be added to the cost (such as foam spray and other items to block bee entry).

Can I keep the colony?

Yes. You will need to be trained and to purchase woodenware. There is an additional cost of $150 to keep a colony (woodenware is extra).

How much is a swarm removal?

There is no charge for true swarm removal. Colonies that have setup inside structures/trees are no longer considered a swarm.
